Mentha is an independent private equity firm active in the lower end of the mid-market in the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark. We are an entrepreneurial team of investment professionals and help inspired entrepreneurs and management teams to go beyond their ambitions by fast-growing their company in a durable manner.

 We focus on established, medium-sized and profitable companies with clear growth opportunities, such as organic growth, international expansion and buy-and-build. In 2024, Mentha also launched the Mentha Impact Fund, the first buy-out fund in the Benelux dedicated solely to environmental impact.

 We are continuously looking for talent with the down-to-earth Mentha DNA to support the investment team during a five-month internship. From day one you will be given a lot of responsibility and you will be involved in potential investment opportunities, the portfolio companies and market research. You will work closely with colleagues in various small teams, which allows you to add value immediately and develop yourself optimally.

 The ideal candidate would be a master’s or third-year bachelor’s student, who has a broad interest in companies and people, is enterprising, eager to learn, and has strong communication and analytical skills. We are looking for authentic and motivated talents who can support their own personal story with extracurricular activities and/or hobbies, and who have a broad interest in the combination of finance, strategy and people. As we look at the total picture, previous internship experience in PE, M&A, and/or strategy consulting is an advantage, but not a requirement.
